Making Equity Work in Schools: A Pathway to Ensuring Leadership for Justice

This keynote presentation will focus on the power of equity-centered practices undertaken by educators in a variety of settings. Such practices reflect educators' everyday struggle to disrupt racism and other forms of oppression and to uncover the hidden human assets within the community, especially those of young people.

Educators will be encouraged to check their own systems for inequity and equity as they work to realize democratic schools where students prepare for and practice leading for justice.
